I had a long phone conversation with writer Daniel Fuller this winter - he had driven to town from Philadelphia specifically to find the Howling Mob Society historical markers after hearing about them at the Creative Time Conference in NY last fall. It's a nice article, despite the Shepard Fairey references at the end (his posters are now pasted nearby, but I would argue that the motivation behind his "Obey" brand is of a very different nature than the HMS work). Daniel also wrote captions for all his photos which offer some further insight as to the placement and orientation of the markers. Feels like we did this ages ago, it's nice to read fresh opinions on it!
