This past month I received an Artist Opportunity Grant from the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. The grant was to fund a period of study with a significant mentor, and I headed down to Sewanee University of the South in Tennessee to brush up on bronze casting with Greg Pond. I'm the guy in the middle in this picture.Also, as part of my involvement with the newly restructured Justseeds radical art cooperative, I will be posting often on the Justseeds blog. This news stream is our attempt at keeping tabs on all of the socially and politically engaged artwork going on around the world that inspires us.
